Frieda Silbert Ullian, economist and civic volunteer, was born in Roxbury, Mass., on October 16, 1900. She attended Boston Girls' Latin School and received her A.B. from Radcliffe (1921) and Ed.M from Harvard School of Education (1922). After her marriage to Hyman B.
